Applying for Google Ad Sense

What you need to do is really easy!

Now that you have a website one of the easiest ways you can think of of making money is to use Google's AdSense. This is a legitimate money making opportunity in which you allow Google to place adverts on your site. Each time one of these adverts is clicked by a visitor you will earn a few US cents for the click. The more visitors, the more clicks the more money.... - it is as simple as that.

When you sign up with Google you agree not to click the adverts on your own site to make yourself money. Google has sophisticated tracking for exactly this and if we find out that you are doing it it is called click fraud we will be very upset! But not as upset as Google who will simply ban you - and that's bad news indeed. Its simply not worth a few dollars to get yourself banned because coming back from that is a nightmare...

The procedure in 7 simple steps is as follows:

1. Go to www.google.com

2. Click on the Advertising Links link

3. Click on Google AdSense for Web Publishers - you are a web publisher now of course!

4. Click on the button labelled "Click here to apply" - perfectly logical so far...

5. In the "new to google" section type in your e-mail address and a password of at least 7 characters that has both text and numbers in it. WRITE THIS E-MAIL ADDRESS AND PASSWORD DOWN SOMEWHERE SAFE!

6. Decide if you want the cheques to be issued in your name (click the "Individual account" option) or in your company name (select the "account for established businesses" option).

7. Fill in your details, leave all check boxes ticked and click submit.
