Making money is as much an attitude as anything else

Making money is about getting your mind around money making. Does that sound a little odd?

It should! Making money is a skill that can be taught and it can be learned by anyone. You can do it. But you need to learn how and we will show you.

We're not here to bore you with platitudes about how easy it is. We know that they don't work.

Why is it that some people, without a formal education, make fortunes that rival the GDP of some smaller nations?

We believe it is because they choose to do so. And the chances are that they've had a little luck somewhere along the process. But luck, when all is said and done, has nothing do with the process of making money. Nothing! Neither does work, or effort, or having money to start with?

Has anyone ever said to you: "Want to make a million dollars? Start with two million dollars and wait!"

We do not profess to be gurus when it comes to making money. We've been using the Internet for years to make money.

Our first rule has always been to Invest in yourself first! This is what this website is all about - empowering yourself as to what works and what doesn't.

We have said elsewhere on this site that we're sick and tired of get rich quick schemes. We're not into those - we've seen the Internet exploit too many people, ourselves included for that to work for us.

Thinking about money is not easy...

I know that any investment I make is mine alone.

That sounds stupid and obvious doesn't it?

But as opposed to managing other people's money (people, resources etc.) to make a company more profitable and the share holders better returns, I am looking after number one. Me!

YOU should look after number one for you - YOU!

Make no mistake I have earned and learned and spent a lot - but rule #1 - invest in yourself always, always applies! Any investment in yourself is better than an investment sitting in a bank, even an MBA!

Do you have to be an extrepreneur? Not in the slightest! Learning to be an entreprenuer is not easy and I think that the best ones are those that never intended to be entreprenuers in the first place! Often, it is necessity that dictates survival, and out of adverse circumstances, some brilliant entreprenuers are borne...

If this whole thing sounds like complete rubbish to you, you've already taken the first step. If something sounds too good to be true, it always is. I was always taught to walk away from such things. And I did too. Successfully on every single occasion...

You're waiting for the 'but' word aren't you?

It's not coming.

There are no buts.

The FIRST rule of making money is to invest in yourself.

My SECOND rule is to learn from others. Throughout my business life I have always had mentors - my successful clients, friends and people I bump into from time to time. I have taught myself never to be afraid of asking them what and how they define success, and how they translated that into their financial success.

You'd be amazed what some of the richest people in the country define as success. You'll find your own people that inspire you and you'll find the genuine good people from whom you can learn true success. But is all starts with spotting an opportunity to learn something meaningful, and financial freedom is a means to success, not the end goal.

I suppose that if there is something we are selling, this is it. The opportunity to learn from some one who has done it, and who is mentoring you.

What you do with that knowledge is up to you - but you will always be in a position to choose. Either you implement what you have learned and make money, or you don't. It's as stark and simple as that.
